RemoteWombat lists home-based part-time roles and passes applications to the businesses that offer them; the business, not RemoteWombat, is the employer. You can write to RemoteWombat at careers@remotewombat.com. RemoteWombat follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Two kinds. First, what you type into the application: your name, mobile number, email address, the role you chose and anything extra you decide to add, with required fields clearly marked. Second, the WhatsApp message you send the RemoteWombat HR team, which shows your WhatsApp display name, your number and whatever you wrote. If you email RemoteWombat, we also receive your email address and message.
Like every website, remotewombat.com receives basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, the page you came from and timestamps. These records are kept by RemoteWombat's hosting provider for security and reliability, and RemoteWombat does not match them to any application.
If a required field is empty, RemoteWombat may not be able to contact you or pass your application to the employer. Optional fields can simply be skipped.
Please never send passwords, one-time codes from text messages, bank or card numbers, your tax file number or photos of identity documents. RemoteWombat never needs or asks for these, and deletes any that arrive.
To reply to your application and send role details, to pass your application to the employer for the role you picked, to answer questions sent by email or WhatsApp, to keep records of applications and conversations, to handle complaints and misuse, and to comply with the law.
No. RemoteWombat never sells or rents personal information, and applying does not add you to any marketing list. If a different employer might suit you better, RemoteWombat will ask first and share nothing for that purpose unless you agree.
The RemoteWombat HR team, and the employer offering the role you chose. Before RemoteWombat introduces you, we tell you which employer it is and which details they will receive.
Cloudflare hosts and secures remotewombat.com and forwards email sent to RemoteWombat. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser loads them from Google. WhatsApp, owned by Meta, carries messages between you and RemoteWombat HR. Each works under its own terms. If RemoteWombat adds another service, such as a form tool or advertising tag, it will be named here before it is used.
RemoteWombat discloses information to authorities only when legally required, or when legally permitted and reasonably needed to look into misuse or protect the rights of a person.
After the form, you complete your application by sending RemoteWombat HR one WhatsApp message. The button opens WhatsApp with a message already written and addressed to the RemoteWombat HR number, which you will see at the top of the chat. Nothing sends by itself; you read it and tap Send. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@remotewombat.com and RemoteWombat will help another way.
Not for advertising or analytics. The RemoteWombat hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter out bots. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and remotewombat.com will still work.
Not at present. As of the date above, remotewombat.com has no advertising tags, remarketing or analytics installed. If that changes, RemoteWombat will first update this section with the provider's name, what it receives and your choices. Your name, phone number and email are never placed in tracking events or links.
It can. Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp operate in several countries, including the United States. RemoteWombat follows the Australian Privacy Principles for overseas disclosures; email careers@remotewombat.com for details.
RemoteWombat keeps application records for no more than twelve months after the last genuine contact about a role, then deletes them. Ask and RemoteWombat will delete earlier; records are kept longer only if required by law or an open dispute. Server logs usually expire within 30 days.
remotewombat.com uses HTTPS, and only the people handling applications can open them. No system is perfect, so if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, RemoteWombat will notify you under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Not always. An employer or WhatsApp may keep its own copy, which RemoteWombat does not control. RemoteWombat will tell you who to contact.
You may ask RemoteWombat at careers@remotewombat.com for a copy of your information, a correction, deletion or withdrawal of your application. RemoteWombat may need to confirm who you are, will try to respond within 30 days and will give reasons if a request is refused. An introduction that has already happened cannot be undone.

No. A person at RemoteWombat reads every application, and the employer decides who is hired.
RemoteWombat roles are intended for adults. Information about a child that reaches RemoteWombat will be deleted.
Email careers@remotewombat.com and describe what happened. RemoteWombat will investigate and reply in writing. If you are unhappy with the outcome, reply and someone at RemoteWombat who was not involved will review it from the start.
Knowing the role lets RemoteWombat send you the right training link and pass your application to the correct employer. If you are unsure, you can say so in your WhatsApp message and RemoteWombat HR will explain the options before anything is shared. You can change your choice at any time before an introduction is made, simply by messaging HR or emailing careers@remotewombat.com.
RemoteWombat keeps the chat so HR can see what was already discussed and avoid asking you twice. Messages are read only by people handling applications. You can ask RemoteWombat to delete the conversation from its side at any time, although your own copy and WhatsApp's records are managed by you and by WhatsApp. RemoteWombat never forwards your chat to marketing companies.
Yes. You can stop your application with RemoteWombat whenever you like by messaging HR or emailing careers@remotewombat.com. RemoteWombat will stop contacting you about roles, will not introduce you to any further employers and will delete your details in line with the retention section, unless the law requires RemoteWombat to keep a record for longer.
The information RemoteWombat holds comes from you, so a quick check before submitting helps. Where something seems incorrect, RemoteWombat HR will ask you about it instead of changing it on assumption, and corrections can always be sent through WhatsApp or to careers@remotewombat.com.
RemoteWombat may revise this policy and will show the new date above. Where required by law, RemoteWombat will notify you before a change affects information it already has.
